IPS doesn't display black tones as well thanks to light physically bleeding between pixels, vs OLED lighting each pixel individually.
There's also software like Apple's True Tone (often enabled by default) and whatnot that influence how your devices display color.

Nezha Empyreum, Styanax Tonatiuh (two because the nipple rings/tassels are peak) and Nidus Phreak. None are my screenshots but random assorted ones I dug out of Google.
Definitely worth looking into, even if they are cosmetics and not the base design.

Three-point lighting is for teaching people about the three main ways you use light. Each is its own tool, you shouldn't feel pressured to always use all three.
Nor are you just limited to one light per, sometimes you may need multiple to cover everything you want to.

Last is back lighting. This is typically placed last in my experience. Of the three, this type is the most situational for me.
If you feel like your character is blending into the background (either via color or brightness), back lighting may be of interest.

The only downside to directional lighting as fill lighting is that it's global.
