Putting in larger jewelery to make the hole bigger heres mine for example (i think its 7 or 8 gauge)

God damn thats an absolute insane thing to have happen. If there's a next time, make sure the piercer is a member of the APP.
Piercings definitely get less noticable the older they are but if fate's against it *shrug*

Also no one tells you this but if you spend a lot of time outside/in the cold during winter months, your breath condenses on your septum ring and drips off. This is especially true if you stretch your septum

Ive got my septum and 2 nostril piercings any my experience has been that I usually stop being constantly aware of them after 1/1.5 months, until then its kinda hell though
