*meaning an acquaintance/friend’s parent wasn’t friended back, for privacy concerns.

and when this happened, I sent well-wishes and checked up on the friend, when her mom passed.

but I don’t need to enter into digital faux ‘friendship’ with the departed 😭, yet the system kept pushing it for years.

I had s/o I didn’t accept a friend request while she was living, then after she died, it kept suggesting I friend her

(I didn’t accept bc it was a friend’s parent)

and how do you go “let’s be Fs now, after death”!

she stayed on the “friend them!” page, as a lingering reminder of not accepting it.

No… autistic children come from autistic adults within their family, and those adults are known but not identified with dx.

There wasn’t a specific autism diagnosis pre-1980.

We could save money AND get far better life results in the process.

So much money saved NOT worrying about billings, collections, “what insurance do you take”, and deductibles and networks and prescription prices before/after insurance, and employer-tied insurance fees, losing insurance when sick.

but all languages are valid! the translate button works, and English speakers should build a bridge and get over it.

there’s more than one language in town.
December 6, 2024 at 1:56 AM
you might want to still lean on some English, for international branding,

but keep it simple, and then use your energy in your native language!

“this is a box. La caja de cartón está en el rincón del apartamento con la etiqueta “cocina” escrita en tinta azul”, or whatever :)
December 6, 2024 at 1:55 AM
It can be written in any language, and then the person click “translate”

Here’s one of Kyo’s recent alt texts, translated back into Spanish, as an example

the same would hold true if the text was originally in Spanish, then the reader clicked for English translation

I’m blocked now, so I can’t see the upstream comments, but I think there’s a misunderstanding perhaps?

Shinyshimmer is legit and a list mod (hence the tag of them, so they could add to list),

the account was lawooo that was snarky and AI, at a speed of a post every six seconds 😔

you can change the feature at settings > accessibility to make it automatic, and any explanation given is better than none at all

this is an AI bot account that’s tasked with writing only snarky replies.

About 10 tweet replies a minute getting auto-sent.

you’re just rambling and you don’t actually know the law on it.

The “part of your genetics” claim is now youdipping into eugenics.

You don’t know basic disability information so you should STOP denying other people’s disabilities that you aren’t informed on.

Lateral ableism.

You do not understand the definition of disability.

I didn’t say you weren’t disabled, but you are uninformed on the definition of disability. You simply are.

If seeing is limited, it’s a disability.
The accommodation is in many cases simple & plentiful (eyeglasses), so it’s a mild disability.
November 22, 2024 at 10:07 PM
You are an ableist and you don’t understand disability. 🤷‍♂️

You don’t recognize that most people do have some form of disability.

You also probably think it’s a “fully-disabled”/“not disabled” system, rather than what the definition is:
Person cannot do any one life task without modifications first.
November 22, 2024 at 9:06 PM
Accomodations are things that make you capable of doing a task you would not be able to do without

Seeing the board in school, or driving.

W/o glasses, people can’t do that task. With glasses, many now can do it!

(other accomodations are hand pedals instead of foot pedals in a car, or move seat)

I’ve definitely added more info about what was inside a book than others who have read the same book, in conversation, (not their fault, I’m a recall-facts person), and they didn’t need to know I listened to the audio version. 😏
As long as you enjoyed it, who cares what medium you got the message? 📚
