I totally haven't been debugging the Leapster on a work in progress fork of MAME that boots Leapster games to figure out all of the secrets it holds
The "My Photo Album" game from Top-Secret Personal Beeswax on the Leapster running on MAME with the debugger opened. The watchpoints were set to the offsets of various instrument pitch values in the BIOS and one of them was reached, leading the MAME stopping emulation at the code that accesses it.

Entering .ZROSTER while signing in on Counting on Zero enables debug mode. You can press down + B to open a hidden cheat menu and up + B to fly. Flying even works in minigames where Zero shouldn't exist.

Anyone have a Leapster 2 with a non-functional touch screen? This *might* help you:
Hold the hint button while booting it up and press A when you enter the hidden diagnostics menu. Now try to calibrate the screen by tapping the spots it tells you to.
