Oh I’m not defending that scenario at all! I’m trying to have a hypothetical conversation because I genuinely want to learn more!
Especially as a person who started to generate wealth and wants to be morally responsible and helpful it means a lot to have these discussions

Look I get why Lizzo is saying this, she represents that scenario. But the music industry is even more craven than most. EVERyONE is an independent contractor, and the pay for ll but people like her is poverty wages.
