As a Kent CC taxpayer my expectations of cost savings leading to better services and lower taxes were set. I’m sure most of Kent would welcome this. However, we’ve obviously been betrayed and badly let down by false promises, haven’t we?

As a resident of Kent I feel badly let down. Didn’t vote Reform but was naturally interested to see what promised cost-cutting and subsequent savings would materialise. Have they done anything good, anywhere?

Everyone knows that once the hostages are released, Israel will simply blast and bulldoze the rest while the world watches on

Seems to be a certain amount of coercion and threat regarding output at BBC these days. It’s as though another state is dictating what we’re allowed to watch

I believe it’s known as Heads of Terms - an initial agreement setting out the scope, i.e. the commodities or services to be traded (or not). The detail should come later.

In Kent, 59% voted leave and 41% remain so there’s still a lot of people in Kent with common sense. We’re not all self-harming twats although sadly at that point in time we were outnumbered

Meanwhile Sky News is trailing a White House presser at 1:30 FS.

It did in the 70s when we joined the EEC, there’s was a general feeling of unity and neighbourliness across UK. We felt that we’d joined something big and exciting and were now on a level pitch with the other countries.
If we rejoined now, widespread relief would likely prevail over pro-Europeanism

None of those terms were in *general* use prior to the vote in June 2016. It was simply Leave or Remain (unless there’s evidence to the contrary of course)

I think Starmer is trying hard to be friends with everybody (except Putin). It’s a risky strategy that could make him (us, UK) look weak if it backfires.
