Leahwho?
@leahwhat.bsky.social
If you're interested in music, gin, gigs, chronic pain, board games and a sprinkling of Social Housing stuff; we might have a few things in common.
There is an unexpected side benefit to having a Bearded Dragon in the house. Not only do I get regular visits whilst I'm working, from the child, Beardy & Cat, but also, I get to say the word Vivarium, which has a rather mellifluous feel when said aloud.

These three spend all day together happily.

Went to an amazing @theguardian.com event yesterday. @zahrajoya.bsky.social was inspirational.

Please donate to @rukhshanamedia.bsky.social if you can, to help spread awareness of the gender apartheid going on in Afghanistan.

Generations of women are living in fear & growing up without education.

Loved watching @michaelkiwanuka.bsky.social. His gig on Monday at Hammersmith Apollo included some interesting videos, great camera work & seamless movement between songs.

The whole night flew by & was over far too soon. His new album Small Changes is a perfect antidote to the usual distorted noise

Had an amazing Monday night at Hammersmith Apollo watching @michaelkiwanuka.bsky.social, with the wonderful @jappiah1.bsky.social as support.

Such warmth & happiness radiating out which reached us up in the nose bleed seats, the whole night was lit.

The strings & videos were a perfect touch too.

@roughtraderecords.bsky.social organised a smattering of music fans for the latest album by @thelathums

Great night despite the crappy view from the accessible area - as evidenced here. My view Vs camera held almost above my head zoomed at 2.5.

Reading @yayoikusama 's autobiography, Infinity Net and somehow just bought this dress. Have a feeling @heleneccles.bsky.social knows what I mean 🤣

Blame that there band Beirut.

After they announced they were only playing two shows in Berlin, it upped the ante & I focussed on learning German (leaving the other seven languages in the breeze for now.)

You can see why I was drawn to getting them out though - I had a bay window to sit in and a very pretty roofline to work with.

If you get the chance, recommend The Wren's - footpath away from @firstdirectarena.bsky.social where Nick Cave opened the British leg of his tour!
