Valve would need a 500 page doc to parse out an exact black and white detail of what passes muster for them. I'm pretty sure this dev just gave them the ick and they said no thanks.

For the few times I still have to interact with X I make sure I only do on the web with an ad blocker so I don't give that fucker any money.

I have no driver issues and run Steam on it just about every day. Can't say it's flawless, little bugs like sometimes Steam once I minimize it will stay minimized unless I quit Steam and restart it. But again, it's beta, I only ever have minor issues with it.

I use PopOS 24.04 Cosmic version, which is technically in beta. It's quite stable though still, so maybe want to give it a shot. Just make sure you grab the Nvidia specific version they have if you have an Nvidia card.

As a fellow Linux gamer, I have no problems except for multiplayer games with kernal anticheat. Linux has come a long way from those old days, best of luck!

There are vast groups of people that literally don't know anything, and I mean that in mean way, I guess in a neutral way. Like they just go to work, put on their shows, scroll through tiktok, turn on twitch to whatever is recommended to them... just pure passive engagement.
