This is wild. I was a huge fan when I was in middle school (saw them at the EX and got their autographs.) No one else in my friend group cared about them or listened to them.

Not that athletes have to be role models but I do worry kids are going to hear how “brave” Vonn is for deciding to compete while injured and thinking that is a normal thing to do.
