Cardinal jumper’s are mimics of mutillid wasps (like velvet ants). This one was came out of hiding to see the camera

Spider features red orange coloration on dorsal side and grey ventral size. Fuzzy like the velvet ants that they mimic. Spider waits for pollinator to visit red zinnia flower (not yet in bloom)

Yellow sulfur cosmos flower features slight red coloration on the anther with other smaller flowers in the background. Monarch butterflies love these flowers, though I have yet to photograph any foraging
