I've been playing minecraft on my MacBook Air M4 for the last 2 hours, max settings, even with shaders, and it's just sipped battery- I'm impressed, and I'm excited to see what apple can do with their chips in the coming years

The USA doesn't want me, every few days I'm stripped of my rights both as trans, and a person of colour. Latin-Americans deny me of my Latina-ness. Puerto Rico keeps making my life harder and more expensive, and my family potentially hates me for what I've become. I can't look at them anymore.

I miss the hugs and kisses we'd do when I meet someone new or get together with friends or family as greetings, I miss the foods, the jokes, the music, and the atmosphere. Everything is different here though... Everything is grander, and everything is bigger.

It's really hard to live in the USA as a non-USA but still USA citizen from birthright. Puerto Rico's standing as a colony to me represents a US that refuses to move forwards, and it's super duper hard to adjust to the people and ideas here.
