That can be tough to fight! Depending on the species I would leave some of it for various reasons, but I would definitely cut some strips as low as possible, staple down tarps to kill the grass roots through light deprivation, prep the area, and then sow a stratified flower mixture throughout

They can also be grown out in little pots for a more hands on approach. There's a little time lapse video on our Etsy showing how they suck up water and pop.

There's 16~ seeds in each of our mixes, and the idea is that no matter where you throw it in your region something in the mix will take root. People like to toss them into abandoned or sparse areas and forget about them. Once the time is right through a combination of rain and sun they pop open!

You should! With the way all of our public land is getting snatched up it will be up to residential gardeners to create the desperately needed pollinator habitats that will keep our ecosystem going. I could talk on and on about the pollinator collapse we are facing 🤪

Launching a Special military operation in South America might speed things up a bit.

Yep! Made it all year without having one latch on only to find one fully engorged mid November 🫠

I observe humans in general treating the planet like this, something to be exploited and ordained by God. Real ones know the truth though. ✌️
