#FreakierFriday is everything I hoped for as a heartwarming sequel that doubles the fun & the laughs. Seeing Lindsay Lohan on the big screen again was everything & Jamie Lee Curtis’ comedic timing was phenomenal. You’ll want to hug your mom after seeing this.

#IKnowWhatYouDidLastSummer is exactly what I wanted the legacy requel to be! Fun, bloody, surprising, campy & featuring a killer soundtrack & a great cast. It’s the Summer slasher I needed! If you loved the first two films, you’re going to love this. Slasher fans are so back!

Witnessing the visual artistry of #SomethingBeautiful in a theater was a breathtaking experience. A stunning companion to the album. Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved, Walk of Fame & Easy Lover were my favorites. If there would’ve been a second showing, I would’ve been there.
#M3GAN 2.0 is better than advertised! A chaotically fun, action-packed ride for fans to enjoy in theaters. Great fight sequences, more sass, some nice twists & it doubles down on the campy humor. There are clear nods to Terminator 2 which upgrade the material from the first film.

#HowToTrainYourDragon is a shot for shot remake of the beloved story we know & love. However, it allows a new audience to discover in theaters the world we fell in love with in 2010. Toothless looks incredible in Live Action & his flight sequences in IMAX are phenomenal.

The chef is back in the MCU kitchen because #Thunderbolts was a blast! It’s a fresh & fun action movie that beautifully handles the subject of mental health & the importance of embracing your imperfections. Florence Pugh & Lewis Pullman steal the show! Yelena, you are so loved.

#Sinners is gory, sexy & brought to life by a brilliantly assembled cast. It’s a Southern gothic vampire tale that lures you into a trance with blues music that stirs the soul. Although it starts off slow, once it gets going, you’re in for a devilishly good time.

Thrilled to say that I loved #DeathOfAUnicorn! It’s Cabin in the Woods meets Jurassic Park with a sharp “eat the rich” theme that gives it the A24 touch. What’s more impressive is how great this looks for a $15 million budget. Don’t miss this Creature Feature on the big screen!

#TheDayTheEarthBlewUp put a smile on my face like an early morning cartoon. Beautifully animated, lots of fun, very clever & exactly what you’d want from a Looney Tunes movie. As a fan of this beloved brand, this movie reminds you why we need these characters to stick around.

While it has more squeamish gore than I was expecting, #Novocaine will be best enjoyed with a packed theater. It’s surprising, shocking & sweet. Jack Quaid is as quirky & charming as ever. As for Amber Midthunder, cast her in EVERYTHING! Her chemistry with Quaid was phenomenal.

#Mickey17 may be a Sci-Fi satire but it could not feel more relevant to the world we live in. It’s creative & zany with effectively layered social commentary throughout. Bong Joon-ho delivers a film that reminds us how great this genre can be & how beautiful it is to be alive.

#PaddingtonInPeru is the serotonin boost I didn’t know I needed. It’s hilarious, wholesome & the cinematic equivalent of a warm hug from a loved one. It has the strongest rewatchability factor out of all three films. If you’re having a bad day, this will make you smile.

#CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld is an enjoyable & entertaining political thriller. While its script is overstuffed & plagued by rewrites & reshoots, Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson feels like the hero we need right now. Harrison Ford is always a highlight. As a Marvel fan, I had fun.

#OneOfThemDays is clever, refreshingly hilarious & proof that they can still make them like they used to. Loved the beautiful messages about the importance of community & embracing opportunities. Keke Palmer & SZA bring out the best in each other with their electric chemistry.

#MufasaTheLionKing is an improvement from 2019’s The Lion King. However, while Barry Jenkins does his best to elevate the material it’s weighed down by a flawed script. As for the music, the essence of Lin Manuel Miranda’s songs were there but I just couldn’t connect with them.
