Today, representatives of our diverse coalition — including community and youth groups, labor unions, and elected officials across Fresno County — filed a notice of intention to begin gathering voter signatures to qualify the people’s transportation improvement measure for the November 2026 ballot.

Through the work of Juntos por un Mejor Oasis, families living at Oasis MHP secured safeguards from unsafe and unfair living conditions through a settlement reached in 2024.

While Yesterday’s Board of Supervisors vote on Thermal Ranch didn’t go the way the community hoped, we witnessed incredible strength and unity from residents.
