Today’s shutdown is the result of GOP chaos & dysfunction. Trump & his enablers are defunding vital services, threatening healthcare, & hurting working families. Democrats are fighting to keep the government open, protect healthcare, and put people over politics. #StopTheShutdown

Today, on the Anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, my thoughts are with all of the families who were affected 24 years ago, with our city that was forever changed, and with our nation that withstood one of its greatest tests in history. We will always remember and never forget #NeverForget
