I don't know now. The more I read the more I think this was a power play. Susie was making sure everyone knew who is the one that makes the trains run as well as they do and keeps things from getting worse. She is re-asserting her authority.

Either Susie is trying a diversion tactic to get attention away from other matters
OR
Susie wants out and is trying to create circumstances to bring it about. I can't see a tactical advantage to it any other way, although admittedly I am not a devious political player.

Not accurate. Lots of employers have lost a lot of money believing the same thing.

I always pictured Charlie as more like the rich young man who asked Jesus about how to get into heaven and after being told to give up everything he had and follow Jesus, he walked away.

They were always in it for themselves. It's just now they are seeing less and less upside to fully supporting him.

What most of them miss is that scripture tells us we won't see it coming. It will be like a thief in the night. So Thiel and others who obsess over the Antichrist are on a fool's errand.
