For a long time Hajar has been my "hipster" deck which was an added bonus as my pride and joy deck.
But Fifteenth Doctor and K-9 in with the steel chair! Also a deck I'm very proud of in just how weird it reads and honestly how the turns end up working out.

I've wanted to play squirrels for a long time, but didn't want to go the combo route of Chatterfang.

And my magnum opus for the year, Ratonhnhaké:ton. I ADORE AC3 and his character and story, and his card just tickled my brain in ways I love. I get to play one of my all time favourite video game characters and play a whole lot of interesting equipment you don't normally see or play in other decks 🧵

Now for the fun/victories of the year! First up is my latest deck Black Panther. Initially the Marvel card I was least excited about he's become a fast favourite. I've built him lower power, playing interesting creatures I don't see often such as Angelic Sell-Sword. 🧵

Only one deck I picked up this year hasn't made it and its Morska. I bought the precon and went in on the detectives theme, and while it was cute I just didn't end up loving it as much as I thought I would. Maybe in future with more detectives? 🧵

Second deck to be retired is Sevienne. I've had the deck since the precon dropped, and I've more than had my fun with it. Also a deck I've achieved everything I want to with and my Kalamax Arcane Spells matter deck is much more interesting for spellslinger for me 🧵

First the old decks who got retired this year. First up is Shorikai. While I love vehicles and artifacts, and the more control elements of the deck, it achieved all I wanted to do, and had stopped being a deck I reached for - Aetherdrift might breathe some new life in!
