One of my cats had hyperthyroidism and I chose the radioactive iodine (RAI) treatment for her. After doing the math, monthly medication cost vs one time treatment cost, the RAI was the most cost effective option. She regained weight and she was calmer. It cost me about US$1,200 about five years ago.

I'm an American, and I am angry, too. I am also beyond ashamed that my countrymen voted for a convicted felon. I keep believing it will all end soon and our countries will again be friends.
