Been some interesting storm patterns the last couple days.

People need to understand that the point is not "models are bad". We need multiple model forecasts and experienced meteorologists to help interpret which model prog is most likely. Because of the nature of nonlinear systems, we will never have one single model that always gives the best forecast.

This is interesting. But it seems to be lacking some types of mid and upper tropospheric systems, as well as smaller scales.

This is terrible. They not only got rid of the topo, but a lot of the other detail is totally missing. Why in the world would anyone do this??

Sounds like fun. This is definitely a need for comparison with lidar studies being done in the West.
