Looking to buy a present for my favorite Canadian friend turning 3, and the descriptions here made me yelp with laughter. Maybe someone had a paste error?

I'd cut my hair a good bit shorter after mom died (she had complicated hair feelings, mostly that long was best), and didn't love it. So I went even shorter yesterday, and though this isn't a great pic? It's making me So much happier. Here's to being comfier in our own skin/hair <3.

The CA landscapes were lovely, lots of mountains, coast, and desert. I also loved that So Many doggos were wearing coats, though it was always over 50 degrees when we saw them. 65 degrees? Put a coat on the labradoodle, honey, it's So Very Wintry!

We went to So Cal and the weather was Much Nicer than Feb in Boston. Weird! Highlights: the Getty, La Brea Tar Pits, LACMA, Joshua Tree, Anza Borrego, San Diego Zoo, Santa Barbara Botanical Gardens, and sea otters and pups swimming in Morro Bay. And here's a Joshua Tree doing PG Arms with me \o/.

This one from Malden yesterday is cleverer (hard to see the reflection in my pic, but it does reflect properly), but no more art than the previous :D.

When people ask about old-timey internets, like "do you know what myspace is?", I always think of this photo of my dad and brother playing a game online in '82?3?. You dialed the phone, shoved it into the cups on the terminal (at right), and then explored a (text) dungeon (on paper).

Just noticed this apparently life-size Tardis in Cambridge yesterday. I've stopped in this spot often, which makes me wonder if I just hadn't looked up before... or if they got a Tardis for Christmas and decided the only place it fit was on the roof. :)
