I feel a deeply spiritual connection with all those who set fear and anxiety aside to march for all those who are being harmed by this Administration. We were created to be in community, not to act out of personal self interest. May we continue to Rise Up!

Contrasting two events in the same space, hard to believe that those in the top were either not arrested or arrested and pardoned, while those below peacefully praying will probably get sentenced with no pardon.

This country is being guided by a functional illiterate, lacking the ability to think critically, reacting without clear processing guided only on emotions. Ask him what the last book was that he read and what he found interesting about it. He doesn’t or can’t read at a truly functional level.

My participation in Saturday’s “Hands Off” movement calls for an additional “Hands On” offered by the prophet Isaiah to the nation who had failed to meet their covenant responsibilities. We are fast moving into exile in our own nation. May we listen to the word still speaking to our hearts…

I am appalled at the gestapo tactics of the Trump/Musk/Putin regime breaking into the National Institute of Peace, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. A former faculty advisor and a colleague/friend are employed there. Is my smaller org who too works for peace and reconciliation vulnerable to a similar attack?

So proud of our Lawrence Kansas community, a blue dot in a sea of red, with back-to-back weekend protests against this fascist administration.

@maddow.msnbc.com my theological thought is that the only way MAGA is going to change is when either their pain becomes great or when the lament of others pain becomes confrontational to their inner soul. This is how the tide changed over the Vietnam war as images streamed into our living rooms.
