You're right, his followers did that. But it's hard to understate the extent of his impact. Whether you believe in the divinity of Christ or not (and I don't), we all live in the world Christianity has made.

No it wasn't. Biden wasn't bombing fishermen in the Caribbean or selling pardons. Biden didn't shut down cancer research or bulldoze the East Wing. Biden didn't round up innocent people on the street and send them to foreign detention camps. Biden didn't threaten Greenland or rape little girls.

You can start by expanding Medicare down to age 50. That will both put Medicare on a better financial footing (all things being equal, 50 year olds use less heath care than over 70s). And it will provide immediate relief to the folks who currently pay the most for private insurance.

I've read that the people affected by the dramatic cutbacks in ACA subsidies are disproportionately in Red states, in large part because those states, thanks to John Roberts, chose not to accept the expanded Medicaid eligibility offered by the ACA.

Or as Rand Paul once said, "The parents own the children." Having seen enough bad parents in my life, it's hard to consider parental rights an absolute.

The children are being "home-schooled," but are too young (6. 6 and 8) to have taken any of the required exams. But the 8-year old can't read, which doesn't seem to bother the mother. The children had never been seen by a pediatrician, and had never received any required vaccinations.
