They voted against expanding Medicaid for working families.
They voted against Obamacare.
They tried to repeal Obamacare and shut down the government to stop it.

This is an excellent piece, underscoring Trump’s resolve to represent only 1/2 of the country. Has that ever happened in our democracy? Should Democrats stop paying taxes, since the administration believes only Republicans deserve government services?

So if he wants to make it a great city, why did he let Congress cut $1 billion from a budget funded by local taxpayers and fire tens of thousands of local workers, a move that would decimate most cities? Does he know anything about how local economies work?

How big is this “base” exactly? Why are we buying the theory that MAGA is in charge of this country and that we have to listen to every word that is said by this minority group of voters as though it is The Word in a country where no one else’s views matter?
