I wouldn’t blame the Constitution. People fail to recognize that the Constitution is paper and democracy is only ever an agreement between enough of the few people in power. As soon as those in power no longer agree that it’s important, democracy is dead.

Once Americans flood the streets and demand reform I hope they realize THE reform needed is publicly funded elections. Politicians owned by corporations will never represent the people.
