🔔 The UK Government will carry out a national test of the Emergency Alerts System at 3pm on Sunday 7th September 2025.

If you’re living with domestic abuse and have a hidden phone in your house for emergencies, consider taking the advice listed in the slides to keep safe during the national test.

Did you know that disabled women are twice as likely to experience domestic abuse than non-disabled women?

Leaving an abusive relationship is often difficult for women with disabilities, particularly if their abuser is also their caregiver.

Merseyside was ranked as the worst region in the UK for femicide in 2023, with Knowsley as the worst in the constituency.

85% of all femicides were domestic abuse related; however, domestic abuse is not outlined in Merseyside’s Serious Violence Duty Strategy.
