Oh everyone finds out real quick when the so-called ‘Chosen Hero’ gets no-diff’d by the freed warlord at the start & beaten to near death.

That opens things up for the MC to go on a quest to find what went wrong & track down the relics said to give the Chosen One the strength to defeat the warlord.

My youngest MC thus far is Ford from my WIP Forged of Ruin, who is 21 years old. Ford's youth is a bit of a double-edged sword in tracking Garnet's crew.

While not as wise & experienced as he could be, youth makes Ford a blank slate, able to develop quickly w/ lots of energy.

Vildrik & his best friend Balza are both from famous families, though Vildrik arguably has a more heroic pedigree.
