Rest is the secret weapon in trauma recovery. I like to spend an hour after work lying down and either reading or listening to music. Helps so much x

I had a similar experience when I was given some of my childhood photos back. It's bewildering how much memory has gone and I wonder how bad my childhood abuse must have been for my brain to protect me so much! I hope you find a way to process it x
