Tick-tock ... starting in about an hour. Red arrow is where local newspaper indicated that missile firing event would take place. It is expected to be fired from the Pacific Ocean over the I-5 freeway and on to the Camp Pendleton grounds.

There really isn't an alternative route - the I-5 in this area runs between Camp Pendleton and the Pacific Ocean. Red arrow marks where the local newspaper indicated the missile firing is to take place.

The weeds have overtaken my small yard and I've been wanting to clear them. I'm a dialysis patient and while I'm healthy (except for the kidneys) I do tire quickly. Finally this AM I got out there and made a bit of progress. As I was picking up my tools, I saw a praying mantis on the green bin ...

Well ... I'm not into pickleball ... I used to play tennis, but not in decades ... and I'm not a commando. Although I do still retain a strong organizational ability, so WTF am I?!? A Dem since birth which has shaped my empathic temperament - i.e. "woke" 💜
