The main reason my mum left Ireland as a teenager was the way the church had complete control of the town where she lived. She knew she lived amongst people who would report behaviour, particularly women’s, to them.

Heartbreaking. These beautiful animals are pushed too hard. I can’t see anything changing though - too many people making fortunes out of them.

They’re only disadvantaged if super rich
Most family farms are under 217 acres at an average value of £2.4 million
Tax only applies over £3 million, on the additional value & they get ten years to pay it, interest free
It’s only an issue for the likes of a certain Mr Clarkson & Mr Dyson.
