TONIGHT! This isn’t a one-week fix. Rebuilding—physically and emotionally—will take months, even years. And we need to be prepared for the long haul. This training is one small shift in making sure we support each other with empathy, skill, and intention—not just today, but for as long as it takes.

Memorial Day aka Decoration Day began with formerly enslaved people honoring 257 Union Soldiers buried in a Confederate prison camp.

This Memorial Day, we recognize and grieve the lives lost in the military as well as all dead due to war.

This presentation will address misconceptions and will document Kentucky's contributions to the Nineteenth Amendment. This evening and day, we celebrate the life of Rosa Parks, who was born on February 4th in 1913.

Through her resistance, we learn and remember the importance of nonviolence protesting and boycotting, which led to the Supreme Court ruling that segregation on public buses to be unconstitutional.
