"We have estimated the impacts on PM2.5 and O3 resulting from various levels of EV adoption in the state of California under 2016 and 2028 emissions conditions. Results show that **annual average PM2.5 in California decreased approximately linearly with increasing rates of EV adoption.**

A very valuable study. The impact of air cleaners on indoor particulates (29% reduction) to me seems worth their not excessive costs. Or at least they could be used to provide safer indoor spaces for vulnerable children on days with high outdoor concentrations. www.theguardian.com/environment/...
