The nice thing about brownies from scratch is that I usually have the ingredients on hand. Plus I have my mom’s recipe in my email so I can bake them at a friend’s house if so inclined. (pls don’t hurt me!!)

We live in the area and that event was so traumatizing

It’s so important in light of all the shit going down to find the good wherever possible. I know this person has a really really hard job. People can be nasty and abusive to veterinary staff. But wow did it feel nice to have a little moment with her on the phone.
