I could be reaching here a bit (Not helped by this being 480p), but that is not the look of someone gearing up for a fight. Compared to Black and White, who are very stern looking at the end of their transformation, Luminous looks concerned, maybe even afraid.

It probably doesn't help that the later episodes punctuate her transformation by showing off how many Heartiels they've collected. You could argue that it's just some extra flare once she gets the Heartiel Broach, but the look on her face before it cuts to this shot?
