Is there an absence of towels? I moved here (from Canada) and see them at stores, often seasonally themed. The only difference is they call them kitchen towels instead of dish towels or tea towels.

It's hard to shake tradition though! My husband's family does lobster on Christmas Eve which is definitely a switch up....but it's not what my parents make me 🥺

We always did ham for Christmas Day brunch but turkey for the dinner - tbf Canadian Thanksgiving is in mid October so we have more of a break between roast turkeys than Americans do
