At the very least, this incident should give pause to those soldiers who will be put in this situation in the future. Hopefully, they will stop and reflect before pushing a button or pulling a trigger.There could be serious consequences.

While this is disappointing, it’s not surprising. But I’d be willing to bet that he’ll commit more state crimes in the future for which some courageous state AGs and prosecutors refuse to back down.
