AL may also have a human relations commission that have information on complaints (if it gets that far). I know Pennsylvania does and I am only barred in PA.

They may have to document progressive discipline prior to firing her. So this time a slap on the wrist with note in her personnel file, next time written warning, and then firing. I would keep a written log of any negative interactions in a composition notebook (date, time, description)

I would go to management and specifically use the words “creating a hostile work environment.” Add that the threat of a battery was the was enough to be considered an assault because you had belief that she could/would hit you.

I would think things like Easy Mac, tuna packets; canned chicken, cup o noodles, canned veggies with pop tops, instant oatmeal etc. These are all things that don’t need tools to make.

Sigh, as a Jewish Pittsburgher with personal connection to Tree of Life this is especially terrifying! Thankful for law enforcement for catching the perpetrator before there was any damage done. And the government cut ties with the ADL… But antisemitism in America isn’t real 🙄

I gave plenty of MoCAs in my psychometrist days. Only gave as screeners for possible cognitive decline and significant brain injury (TBI, stroke, etc).

I don’t know but I had slap tears in both of my shoulders. A lot of people are good with PT only (I wasn’t one of those people). Happy to talk about my experience
