While visiting my dad in memory care, my son asked about the music that was playing (hits from the 40s). I explained that music is one of the last connections we lose. He said he'd be happy to visit me for the Beatles/Motown they'd be playing. And then he said "oh no! The Spice Girls for me!?!"

I would prefer a library/museum that documents every crime committed by Trump, his family, and his accomplices. Named and shamed, for all of the future to learn from our collective failure to immediately contain them. This must not be repeated. I want that name to be as reviled as the name Hitler.

He deserves shade, but Cassidy was born in 1957, went to LSU for undergrad and medical school. RFK was born in '53, went to Harvard undergrad and UVA for law school. They were not college roommates.

I think forgiving and moving on after the Civil war helped contribute to the current mess we are in. It certainly legitimized and entrenched the racism that is so prominent today. I am hoping for trials, convictions and lengthy prison terms.

Illinois took care of this with the 2020 redraw. Trump carried about 43% of the state, but 83% of our US congressional districts are represented by Democrats. At the time, I was disappointed that it was so heavily rigged, as I believe in fair representation. Now I believe it was prescient.

The Superdawg of my youth is the standard I use for hot dog comparisons. Superdawg doesnt have celery salt or fresh tomatoes, but does include a pickled tomato. I have to say that most of the other stands I have been to included fresh tomatoes on my dog.

Sometimes, the tomatoes are diced. Add a sprinkle of celery salt, too.

A common phenomenon. A few years ago, my then 99 year old mom commented that while her beliefs on most issues had remained unchanged for decades, she had somehow evolved from being a left-leaning moderate to a flaming liberal.

One Halloween, I saw a large brown animal with antlers on the street. Chicago raised me said "Look kids, somebody put antlers on their Great Dane for Halloween! How cute!" My 4 year old and 6 year old kids shrieked with laughter and said "Mom, that's a deer!"
