Since it is to early to start seeds indoors I thought I would try some winter sowing of wildflowers and some herbs.

Since the snow has us hanging out at home, we decided to use up our last apples to make and can a batch of applesauce.

Days like this are good for planning the gardens. We're expanding our plantings this year in anticipation of increasing grocery prices.
