Summary: Lucius Spriggs, rising star celebrity gossip columnist, hates his latest assignment: a charity baking competition in Little-Flagton-Upon-Sea, a tiny port-town that gears the fuck up for Christmas. It’s a fucking punishment is what it is. He checks into the Happy Holiday Hatchet Inn (co-owners Stede Bonnet and Edward Teach), fully expecting to despise the entire sickeningly sweet, tooth-rottingly festive experience until the damn article’s written and he can get back to civilisation. Naturally, he’s shocked to meet his interviewee: grumpy Izzy Hands, owner of the Queen Anne Cafe and creator of the first ever Little-Flagton Gingerbread House Competition. Then, just days before the big event, Izzy’s sponsor pulls out, leaving the competition in jeopardy. Will Lucius embrace the small-town community or return to his glitzy, impersonal celebrity world? Will Izzy slam someone’s balls in a nutcracker? Can Little-Flagton’s holiday cheer save the day?

Would I have resisted Lestat two decades later? Snatch the candy Be the man in the different suit. But the suit changes nothing, and again I’m kissing Lestat on the alter.
