OTs work with a lot of kids. I work at an elementary school, a lot of folks have trouble turning off the "speaking to kids" voice.

It's definitely a retelling/adaption, and not a book accurate 1:1 story. But I think it hits a lot of the themes from pratvhets book. It's like the Leo decaprio/ clair Danes adaption of Romeo and Juliette

I think that's what they adapted, but in spirit. It's been a while since I watched the show and longer since I read the books.
