About four years ago, we began work on what would become DREDGE. By February, we'd started wireframing out the UI of Greater Marrow and its residents, and we've enjoyed looking back to see what stayed consistent throughout the design process. Take a look:

The upper is a rough wireframe, showing simple drawings of the Fishmonger, Shipyard, debt repayment, time and date, as well as stand-ins for characters to talk with. Below is the final version, which has full art, additional things like storage, research parts, and has the Mayor as a character to talk to. The top shows a figure, pricing board, and a show of the cargo with five cod in it, with options to sell the fish. The top shows a shop selling rods and engines, a figure, and the cargo of the ship with a rod and one engine installed (and four cod).
