Daily level review 7: DeepDive. This level is extremely creative and has lots of fun ideas like the shark boss you have to attack with TNT. It is also very well executed with a style that strikes a perfect balance between messy and clean and a perfect balance between realism and feeling like GD.

Daily level review 6: GD Gangster Rap. While the song is a fun novelty, the decoration is extremely clean and overpolished, lacking texture. This makes it feel quite stale and corporate despite the rather charming easter eggs. Levels need details and imperfections to stand out, and this has none #gd

Daily level review 5: Lovers Sadness. While I usually dislike simple levels, this level manages to stand out due to its powerful emotional expression, raw deco, parallax use, and unique use of 1.0 blocks. Some parts do feel quite empty and pointless though, and the length is drawn out too much.

Daily level review 4: Peaks and Shrieks. This level builds a fully fleshed-out world with tons of charming characters and monsters, and it’s made better by Loltad’s unique structuring perfectly fitting the mountain theme. Despite its simplicity, the colors, movements, and unique design give it life.

Daily level review 3: ABEL. This level stands out as a rare 2.1 effect level that doesn’t sacrifice detail and texture. Dienid’s trippy effects are both technically impressive and look great, and the texturing and visual complexity makes this arguably better than levels like WHAT or HOW in my eyes.

Daily lvl review 2: Requiem. This level expresses lithi’s raw emotions very well through its brutal/messy deco and animations, and despite the rather primitive glow design style it manages to be extremely powerful and unique. It also has extremely satisfying gameplay, but the DX version is better.

Daily level review 1: Calculator Core. While the quality is inconsistent and some parts look quite generic, this level matches the messy and raw style of Artificial Ideology quite well which gives it intensity and charm. It also executes the tech theme very well with its memorable effects and art.

Hot take: I don’t care how unoptimized it was, konsi’s old kocmoc part was better than kivvvi’s replacement, and I’m saying this as someone who loves Kivvvi deco. Kivvvi’s kocmoc part is some of his worst work and the kocmoc update that replaced konsi’s part with kivvvi’s ruined the level for me.

Animation I am working on in geometry dash, based on the “this will drastically affect fishing season” image. For my part in Karma Farm by CrackermanuelGD. I was inspired by the drifting car animation in Berzerker by grax to combine frame by frame and trigger animation. #geometrydash #gd
