I’d rather enjoy the wild beauty of those who inspire laughter, joyful movement, and thoughtful discourse than spend my energy beating back beasts craving cruel feasts. Kill ’em with kindness. Ruin them with ridicule. Wither with wry wit. Lay them bare with laughter! 😈

‘Sinners’ is so deeply woven with history, culture, & traditions, it didn’t land like a typical horror movie for me. Though vampires create gore aplenty, the most horrific bits are the true pieces of history quilted together in the story.

The woman who was manhandled in ID has a GFM. It asked for $30k and is OVER 1/4 MILLION DOLLARS! I haven’t ever clicked through. It’s unconscionable for it not to be closed by now. It’s well over stated goals.

You can’t just assume the title of “ally”. It’s really a verb in its most effective and comforting practice. Something you do, show, and be. Telling someone you are often puts them on alert that you might not be.

I see people justifying doing away with the Dept of Ed because state education departments have best insight into student / school system needs. I also see MAGAt legislators proffering bills to dismantle the state Ed departments.
