To be clear, national poverty line is defined for 2025 at $15650 USD, a consistent rise of just shy of 1% from the year before, far lagging behind inflation. I could afford 8 months of rent on that salary if there were no taxes and I paid for nothing else.

It may seem like you "lose" some of this progress in the next couple weeks. Don't despair! The body just wants to return to "normal" and as you persist it will redefine that.

No such thing as one-sided facts, just facts. Sure it would be great to get all of them objectively but no single outlet is gonna do that. Dismissing one because you don't like those facts is the opposite of being well-informed.
