I love how Batman #3 puts Bruce's judgement into question without implying he is cold or doesn't care. Themes of reinvention also come up again. Similarities between Alfred & Bruce and Bruce & Damian. Riddler relapsing. "Everything old is new again..."♡

The Question #30 is so good. The idea of Myra's death freaks Vic out as his love for her and Tot are among the few things he never questions.
As he meets the enigmatic Lady Shiva again, Vic fluctuates between violence and pacifism. He hasn't yet decided who he is

The issue has themes of tenderness, innocence, and change which pairs well with Batman's blue suit ♡ It really helps show the tender side of Batman which is often neglected.

This just continues to deepen the issues of how none of the dialog actually says anything. They gesture vaguely towards ideas without addressing or saying much directly, and then flash Darth Vader on screen.
Anakin promises to finish Ahsoka's training and gives her a choice. "Live or die." She doesn't understand and thinks he is being literal. "I won't fight you." So rather than elaborating and being direct like Anakin has been in the past, he decides to revisit the Clone Wars. Ahsoka says "What about my training?" Anakin says "This is your training!" Ahsoka, still confused by him not just telling her, responds "I don't understand!" Anakin says "That's your problem!" What a fucking smart bit of dialog. Her problem is she doesn't understand because the dialog is written to be deliberately vague as an excuse to reference other stuff. They talk about how shitty the times she lives in are. Something that she has struggled with for a long time in both Clone Wars and Rebels. She feels guilty about her mistakes, her role in the war, and the Clones who died. Anakin admits it bothers him too. They have both seen darkness and they are products of their time, which is something everyone in this situation including the audience already knew. Ahsoka uses this to bring up their legacy for the first time after 17 minutes of them referencing the past and not resolving anything she asks. Is fighting all she'll ever have to teach? Probably not if her previous line "This isn't what I was trained for" has any merit. Anakin counters that she needs to fight to survive which doesn't answer her question at all, and only serves to prolong the series of references. Ahsoka is still confused about what the point is. So Anakin refuses to talk and turns into Darth Vader. For a brief moment Ahsoka sees what she is really afraid of. The darkness inside of him - and by extension inside herself? They are separate people. She doesn't necessarily have a darkness inside of her and we haven't seen much at all to imply there is any darkness to her. On Mandalore, Anakin praises her strength and touches on their legacy again. He says "Within you will be everything I am. All the knowledge I posess." which …
