it bears repeating. many of us who experienced growth in our professional lives during Twitter's big accelerative years probably came to think of Twitter as an important part of our picture. but even before the guy whose cars explode took over that time had passed. gotta smell that expiration date
Another data point: I ditched the former Twitter mid-November, did no messaging/marketing there at all, and still had the most profitable holiday sales run I've ever had, and this first quarter is (so far) looking pretty great too. I haven't been back and won't be back. Turns out I don't need it.
a word for anybody who's still on twitter. I just played 4 sold out shows. I RT'd my management's posts about them once or twice but that's it. I don't even look over there any more. now I know I have 20+ years building tMG so that's true. but. if you wanna bail on bird app, there's a data point.

10 years ago I joined my first ship on the 6th March 2014, a fresh faced, over confident, over enthusiastic Deck Cadet who drove her Chief Officer, 2nd Officer, and the other Cadets crazy with questions and attitude.
