random wip I wanted to share that I started last night — been randomly having Shion on the brain despite not being able to play FFXIV 🥹

A very messy digital sketch done by me of two Au ra ocs from FFXIV ! On the right is Shion Tachibana and the left is Kai or otherwise known as Draven (owned by my friend Mystic) ! He has his hand protectively hovering behind her as she turns around to wave at someone in greeting off screen. He is glaring at the same direction she is looking, as if silently warning the one calling to her to not approach. Draven is currently escorting her to her next mini concert that she will put on for the merchants of people of Ul’dah !

finished a commission for my friend Seth ! A redraw from the movie One From the Heart ! But instead… Urusei 💕 had a lot of fun drawing this — was a good challenge >:^)

The first in a series of four screenshots all taken at the same location — the airship landing in Ul’dah. It features two au ra (from FFXIV Online) with one being Draven Swiftstrike (Kai) and Shion Tachibana on the landing looking at each other. The pov is taken from afar, with Kai holding Shion’s white and blue parasol above them both. Their backs are to the camera and the timing of the screenshots seem to be taken during an overcast day, which creates a soft light for them. The second in the series of the screenshots, this time a more close up of the two. It shows more of Shion’s pov, with most of Kai’s face still obscured to the viewer. The third - featuring Shion’s face smiling up at Kai with the parasol framing the picture. Kai’s face is fully hidden from view, so you can not see what expression he is making back at her. She seems fully content in his presence. The last of the screenshots of the two, this time a focus shot of Kai! He is, instead of looking back at Shion, is instead glaring at the viewer. It seems he doesn’t really like the photoshoot, while Shion doesn’t seem to mind one bit.
