If no one has complained to the FCC yet, I assume that is just due to the compressed time line. Ordinarily, what happens is that after a candidate appears, the stations file public notices announcing the fact. Our rules then give other campaigns one week to ask for comparable time and placement. We don't usually have situations like this 50 hours before election day. It is also possible that the campaigns are working with NBC to obtain some sort of accommodation. Maybe they will offer other campaigns free time during NBC Sunday Night Football. I'm not sure.
But either way, it is far from clear to me that they can find a way to provide comparable time and placement to an
