Indescribable shock is the closest vibe I'm getting from family in LA. This is about empathy and says it better than I can.

What a myopic attitude. My parents immigrated from oppression; I have worked since I was 6 years old and made a life for myself - while building communities and giving to others. No Lotto or oppression. You have no idea. Go on with your resentment and false narrative to make yourself feel better.

Expressing dissatisfaction is entirely different than wishing people harm or making people wrong or bad simply because they have wealth. Rich people are not all horrible, evil, facists, or trust fund babies. Many came from nothing and built nice lives from hard work - not on the backs of others.

Your comment was "Eat the Rich". It was not about equal treatment.

You expect people to have compassion and kindness towards you, but then you spew hatred simply because people are rich. Whether rich or poor, people lost their homes, keepsakes, and, in many instances, their biggest asset.

Sweeping false statements to serve your insensitive narrative. Many of the expensive homes lost were not second homes or owned by billionaires. Why can't people feel compassion for the residents and the cleaner, landscapers, etc.. Compassion need not be mutually exclusive.

These are people's homes - not just $$$$. They are personal to people with memories and keepsakes, and in many instances, their biggest asset and life savings from hard work. Have some basic decency and compassion.

These are people’s homes, memories and life, not just money. Have some decency.
