The answer to "Why isn't Labour taxing the rich?" is "Labour *is* taxing the rich." Did you miss the months of front page outrage over inheritance tax reforms which are about to close one of the most lucrative loopholes for the mega-wealthy, and the removal of VAT exemptions for private school fees?

What a great weekend at #ScotLab25 great speeches from Scottish Leader Anas Sarwar, and rounded off excellently by Keir Starmer. Real clarity of conviction on support for workers and the transformation of our economy and also his strong determination to protect our Ukrainian and European allies.

Genuinely impressive speech from Keir Starmer at #ScotLab25 this morning. Big new commitments on Grangemouth, an absolutely deserved hammering for the SNP, and sobering and critical clarity on foreign policy which remind us how important it is today to have a credible, serious Labour Prime Minister.
